Experienced Band 6 Tutors

Our tutors have been through the struggles of High School not long ago and know how to interact with students of various levels. While all of our tutors were high achievers, we’ve made it a point not to select them just for their marks. They are well rounded individuals, have passion for their subject and can all simply teach.

Extensive Resources

Our Resources include notes and booklets that are designed to instill competence and confidence within our students. A big part of improvement is having access to a healthy amount of worked examples, practice questions and content explanations. Our resources includes content/questions that target basic, intermediate and high level students so that everyone is able to benefit.

Small and Tailored Classes

Individualised and focused attention is increasingly important for student success. School environments often fail to deliver tailored support to students due to large class sizes and hence, teaching resources being spread too thin. We make sure to split classes into different levels wherever needed so that students are getting help at the level they most need it. We assure you that we will not keep any student in a class if they are clearly not benefitting. 

School Specific Help

While Profectus follows a specific schedule to cover content, we are highly flexible. Where possible, we adjust classes to meet the needs of specific schools (topics and skills covered). Furthermore, at the end of each lesson (for Years 7 – 10), we provide upto 30 minutes where students can ask their own specific school homework/assignment questions. Once a week, we provide a walk in study session as well so that students can get any specific help they require.

Going to Profectus for Advanced English tutoring was one of the best decisions I've made. I never enjoyed English until I started attending here. The tutoring service at profectus tutoring is greatly specialised to the needs of each individual student.
